Everyone feels scared or worried sometimes and it never feels good when it happens. Usually it passes and a lot of the time a little bit of fear can be a good thing. But for some people anxiety does get in the way.


In this workshop you will explore:

  • Normal worries and fears vs worries and fears that stop you from doing important things.

  • How anxiety works, how it affects you and why some people are more anxious than others

  • How thoughts can make anxiety much worse and ways you can change your thinking.

  • Tackling stress and stressful situations

  • Skills and strategies that will help you handle stress so you get the most out of life. 


Emma has worked as a psychologist with children and adolescents in educational settings within both the public and private sector for 20 years.


She established Leap for Kids, a private practice providing psychological services to children and their families and is the founder of Teen Health & Wellbeing.


Emma is passionate about delivering evidence based psychology programs and interventions that make a difference to the education, health and wellbeing of young people.
